Happy New Year, fellow SCCA members! May this year bring you and your families joy and prosperity.
My name is Catherine Rutgaizer, and I serve as Vice President of the SCCA Board of Directors. The Board oversees the management of our shared amenities, including four parks, trails, and a boat ramp, as well as association equipment.
As Vice President, I am dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community and ensuring all members enjoy the beauty and vibrancy of our Association. Participating in community events throughout the year provides a wonderful opportunity to support our shared spaces, connect with neighbors, and forge new friendships. Even a single hour of volunteer service during our spring park cleanup can significantly improve our parks for everyone’s enjoyment. We hope to see you volunteering your time.
The Board of Directors is committed to serving the needs of our members. Our decisions are guided by your valuable input, ideas, and suggestions. I encourage all members to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in August. At the AGM, we will present a year-end report, discuss current challenges, and explore potential solutions. This year, we will be proposing minor amendments to the SCCA By-Laws and Rules & Regulations to better reflect the welcoming spirit of our community.
The Board is dedicated to maintaining a well-kept and inviting community for all members and their guests.
